The company was founded by the Salgado family in Madrid in 1875 and driven by the entrepreneurial vision of Don Rafael Salgado Cuesta. His innovative spirit led him to establish key institutions such as Hermes Seguros and Banco Mercantil e Industrial, the bank that financed the construction of Real Madrid FC Santiago Bernabéu Stadium. In recognition of his legacy, a street next to the stadium bears his name: Calle Rafael Salgado

As a result of our joint venture with the MIGASA GROUP, one of the world leaders in the production and sale of olive and seed oils, we have our own oil mills, extraction plants, refineries and bottling plants, thereby controlling the entire production process.
